Fixed amounts or percentages
One member pays a fixed amount each month, another covers 30 % of everything. Both work side by side in the same group, and the same person can be set differently in each group.
Balances that keep themselves current
File an expense and every share, every paid-in total and every balance is recomputed on the spot. Nobody has to sit down and “do the accounts” at the end of the month.

Does everyone need an account?
No — only the person who creates the group. Everyone else opens their own link, and can register later without losing a single figure.
Can I mix fixed amounts and percentages?
Yes, inside the same group. The same person can even contribute a fixed amount in one group and a percentage in another.
What if the shares don’t cover the total?
You get a warning that names the reason and the exact amount: percentages short of 100 %, or contributions that don’t match what was actually spent.
Can I show a group to someone without adding them?
A moderator can switch on a read-only link for the whole group — and switch it off again at any time.
